I am continually frustrated with whoever does the ordering and inspecting of the ordering when it comes in for the reptile department. For months, I have been buying hornworms, superworms and flightless fruit flies, and either they are 1) not in stock, 2) horrible quality or dead inside the packages, or 3) not as described on the package. When I shop elsewhere, I get exactly what I shop for, what the package states, and in good living condition- I just have to drive to Aiken or Augusta to get it. The flies last approx a month as they reproduce in the package. I got exactly one meal from yesterday's package. 8.99$ for one meal for a baby chameleon is utter nonsense. And three dead hornworms, 4 to a pack is 10$. Why even put the package on the shelf?! If they are dead or too small to eat,

They are so sweet and helpful. I've been having issues setting up my tank with water levels. I'm almost ready for fish thanks to the awesome employees ☺️. I also brought my dog Sally to get new toys ❤️. My go to pet store.❤️

Be cautious when choosing the $29 quick wash package. We were told they could not guarantee our dog would be completely dry due to the “time frame” of that package, and we were encouraged to upgrade in order for him to be fully dried. This was frustrating and disappointing. When we followed up, we were told this was company policy; however, after contacting corporate, we were informed that this is not an actual policy. The experience felt misleading and left a bad impression with Staff.

Clean and well organized store with helpful staff and very few animals needing homes (that's usually a good sign, lots of adoptions and such). Staff was helpful and courteous.

I went in to purchase 10 $0.49 goldfish last night and was told by a young strawberry blonde, who was not wearing a name tag and refused to tell me her name, that I could not make the purchase because I didn’t have a 29 gallon tank to put the fish in. This was after she told me they would die, which I told her I was aware of. I can’t wait to share this with the corporate office. Many of these young people need to learn to stay in their lanes and do their job. I didn’t come in for a consultation or lecture. I came in to buy 10 $0.49 goldfish and go about my business. These folks need to check their staff.
