I had a very upsetting experience with the grooming salon at the PetSmart in Grandville, MI. During my dog Arlo’s grooming appointment, he was accidentally cut on his paw pad and began bleeding. Accidents happen — and I want to be very clear that the stylist handled this situation far better than management ever did. The stylist was compassionate, professional, transparent, and genuinely cared about my dog. She took responsibility, communicated with me, and even followed up afterward to check on Arlo. She showed more professionalism, empathy, and leadership than anyone in management that night. Unfortunately, management’s handling of the situation was extremely poor. They always take such good care of our husky Remy big groomers so beautifully she always smells so good and is so soft and they always treat her so well

We take our dog here every other week to help her with socialization and her nervousness. The staff is always friendly and the store is generally clean. We also enrolled in one of the dog training sessions. The trainer was very knowledgeable and helped us to deal with her nervousness and basic training. Definitely recommend.

Sold me a dead crab... my husband even questioned it before we checked out...since it was laying upside down and the cashier said "oh no, its alive"....Go right home and take them both out and the one in question stinks horribly and nope it is not moving at all... The other one is perfectly fine and moving around but this one is definitely dead... like just seriously 😒

I recently took my pet to PetSmart for a grooming appointment and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We specifically requested a paw trim as part of the service, but when we picked up our dog, it was clear this had not been done. When we asked an associate about it, we were told the groomer had not yet been trained to use scissors. While I understand that everyone is in training at some point, it’s unacceptable for a grooming service to be offered and charged for, if the staff isn’t fully qualified to complete it. At the very least, we should have been informed ahead of time so we could make an informed decision or adjust our expectations.
