Pet Supplies Plus Grandville

Had a great experience with the Alexis Coulter who trimmed my dogs nails today. She did an amazing job calming Chewy down and was pretty quick about trimming his nails! I would go back again!

I had a grooming appointment for my dog today at Pet Supplies Plus and was very disappointed with the experience. I was told the grooming would take about 1 to 1.5 hours, but after 1 hour and 40 minutes I received a call from the groomer asking if they could shave my dog because she had “serious gnats.” I declined, as I did not want my dog shaved, and told them I would pick her up instead. To my surprise, when I arrived I discovered that they had already started shaving her chest without my consent. This is completely unacceptable. If I was given the choice and clearly declined, my wishes should have been respected. Grooming is about trust, and this experience left me feeling that my instructions and my dog’s well-being were disregarded.

The older manager here was absolutely rude to me and immediately shut down my need for help trying to remember a brand of dog food I got. He was on the verge of laughing at me. He said I was wrong and that I must have the store mistaken for another when I’ve come here for dog food for months. I felt extremely uncomfortable and judged by him when he kept finding me in the store to look at and try and prove I’m wrong some more. A disgrace.

It's not very incentive driven, to say the least !! Knowing that most places now in 2024/25 are using apps to discount at the cashier! Here, it is a total new experience, and the person at the cashier has no access to your profile and can not tell you how to use your points. I'm very disappointed!! Those days, everything was so expensive, my dog (Dexter) has been to this store from day one, and he loves the staff . Unfortunately, we can no longer afford the sky-high prices where very little is given back to consumer loyalty, very sad!! And sorry!

Today I took my 6 year old miniature pinscher in for a nail trim. What is usually a really stressful situation for her turned into a positive experience that will have us returning to this location again! The gals in the grooming salon were SO friendly, kind, and patient with my girl. I would recommend a million times over.
