I'm a supporter of mom and pop shops above box stores and big chains all day. Pete's is a true small biz and has been as long as I've known. Prices are market rate, variety is way better than you'd think it would be given the size that the building looks like from the outside. Their customer service is totally dynamite. Their customer service is way better than you would get in chain with a manager who doesn't have any ownership. Are you offended by the cigar smoking or occasionally unpriced item? If you are, you might be a little thin-skinned and should move on, but you'll be missing out on meeting genuine folks and having people notice and remember your face, as they tend to do in mom & pops. Great down home relaxed country style service. Lots of pet food and supplies.

Great place. Anna, the owner is awesome and always so helpful. Louie is great too, always offering to help carry my big bags of dog food out to my car. Two awesome people and a great place for all your pet needs. They try to keep their prices low too, which is helpful since I spend $150 week on dog food lol

My mother and I always come here for our pet food! Anna and Louie are the nicest people. They’re very pleasant to be around, and we have fun talking. I enjoy visiting the store, and the prices are great!
