Hello k f, I'm the owner of the black and white dog that was groomed on December 26th. I appreciate your concern for my dog and although I may not change your perception of what you saw, I can share my take on the Petco Groomers and how much my dog enjoys time with them. For over 2 years, these Groomers have taken great care of my dog, successfully doing everything from bathing, brushing teeth and yes, trimming nails. My dog has always been reluctant about nail trimming so I am especially grateful for their services here. For all of our visits, my dog has loved being with these Groomers and continues to look forward to every trip back to Petco because of them. I do hope you enjoy the rest of your holiday season and you have a happy new year.

I had an absolutely awful experience at this Petco grooming salon. I brought my dog in for a regular Schnauzer cut, but when I picked him up, I was handed a completely different-looking dog—they shaved him down brutally, completely ignoring my request. It was shocking and heartbreaking to see my dog like that. To make matters worse, my dog came back with multiple broken nails, which suggests just how brutal and careless they were during the grooming process. I can’t imagine what they put him through. Meg, the groomer, was responsible for this, and I cannot believe the level of neglect my dog suffered under her care. On top of that, the final price was higher than what I was quoted online when I booked the appointment. There was no transparency in pricing, and I was essentially overcharge

Good place to get anything that you may need for you aquarium, dog, cat or pets. My dogs love their treat bar, where you can get different types of biscuits. I also bought plants for my aquarium for a good price.

On December 26, I witnessed a beautiful young dog, black and white, possibly lab-shepherd mix, being utterly traumatized by a nail clipping at this location. I was on the checkout line; it wasn't my dog, or I'd have had him out of there and safe home immediately. He was essentially suspended by a neck restraint, choked, whole body writhing in an effort to escape the groomer. The groomer was as stone-faced as an executioner. She didn't speak to the dog, reward the dog, stroke or attempt to soothe it in any way. Many dogs don't like to have their nails cut, but compassion is key. This dog will remember for a lifetime what a terrible experience it was; will never willingly let it be done in future. It was a horrifying spectacle. Why this woman is a dog groomer is a complete mystery.

Went in today looking to buy a fish for my son. We stood in aquatics for at least 15 minutes and no one ever came back to help us. Eventually we walked to the front to ask for help, I believe her name was Lily - she was incredibly rude and condescending to me and my mom. While what she was explaining made sense to us it was her delivery that was terrible! I wouldn’t recommend anyone to shop at this store if this is how they treat their costumers!
