I had such a wonderful experience at the Petco on Highway 51 in Millington, TN. After a frustrating situation at another location, this team completely restored my confidence. From the moment I walked in, Megan Rook was warm, welcoming, and professional during check-in. She immediately made me feel comfortable and reassured. The groomer, Allison Rydinger, was absolutely phenomenal. She introduced herself, carefully assessed my dog, and confidently assured me she had everything under control even with my dog being matted. Her calm, knowledgeable, and caring demeanor truly put me at ease. What stood out most was how genuinely loving and attentive the staff were. Took my dog in here twice will never go back. The first time they called to pick her up early because she was out in a kennel and didn’t do well and she was still wet so they didn’t charge me which was nice. The second time I took her in I brought her for only a haircut and I was charged 127 dollars for just the shaving which was only 45 minutes long. They charged me for a bath they did not give her and told me that was the price even if she didn’t get a bath because they can’t just charge for a haircut. I was charged 20 extra dollars because I asked for them to just call me when she was done and no kennel which is apparently considered VIP. And another 17 for fees and taxes. The prices are insane here and my dog came back with a raccoon tail and very unblended neck and head.

Update: no one has contacted me and my “case” with the corporate number that they responded with to call… has been lost. AWFUL Place! I took my lab to get a bath and added the essentials package at the Millington location and I was scammed. I’ve used petco before for grooming and training but it’s been a few years as I moved to an area with no petco. To start off, I don’t believe the groomer did what I paid for? My dog’s paws did not get paw balm, they were still dry as they were when I took her in, and I don’t think she brushed her teeth. Both which were in the essentials package I added on to the service. When I booked the appointment it said the bath was $40 and the essentials package added $22 on the total. So we are now at $62. Well wrong. I was charged $96 and then asked to tip. Whi

Employees have always been polite,the store usually have what I’m looking for except the whole hearted chicken food topper for my lil Reggie. It seems to sell fast. The vet clinic they have there,people that work that are great. They seen my lil Reggie riding in the seat part of the basket and they loved that. It’s a place you can take your dog,big or small,end just walk around and look at things.

My dog is old and blind. I’ll bring her every two weeks to get her nails trimmed and buffed and her ears cleaned. The girls there usually are phenomenal. One to come for a new one to do the grooming. Today after taking her I was told not to bring her back anymore that she needed to go to a vet and be sedated.Megan was rude. There are two Megan’s. The one with the red hair is awesome this is a different one. My friend went back to talk to me again and was told the same thing. I will never step foot in Petco again I was devastated
