Kat is great. She is knowledgeable about nearly everything in the store. She is kind patient and will go out of her way to help you. Only petco that will get my coins. !!!

This is the third time I have been in this store, ask for help, and received none. Twice before I was looking for a harness for my girl and they were no help whatsoever. I was asking about size and the salesperson said I don't have a clue. Today I was looking for a bone for my dog. I asked one of the workers who said to me I have no idea and then just walked away. I'm sad because it's very convenient and close to my house, but I will not frequent the store again.

I brought my dog to the Petco Grooming location in Hamden for a scheduled grooming appointment and was turned away without the grooming manager, Catherine, taking any time to evaluate my dog or assess whether services could be provided. What was most disappointing was not just the denial of service, but how it was handled. Catherine did not attempt to observe my dog, ask questions, or offer alternatives. Instead, the interaction was abrupt, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no effort made to de-escalate, educate, or provide customer-focused solutions, which is especially important in a service involving animals and their owners. After reading other reviews, it appears that multiple customers have had similar experiences at this location, including being turned away without meaningf

We went to Petco to purchase nextguard🤞for the first time through the Vetco clinic. The Vet Doctors + Assistants were great. Courtney helped us a great deal she is nice & professional. Sasha offered extra information when checking us out, which is why this store is one of our favorite locations. 😻 🐶 🐶 🐶 🐕 💛 Thank you.

Cathy D (Cat) is wonderful when it comes to my puppy’s care. She is gentle and takes good care of my pet. She is very professional and a very sweet young lady. I normally drive to NY for my baby’s grooming until it dawned on me that my groomer doesn’t check for pet’s medical status. My poor baby came back with fleas . I tried another groomer in north have (won’t say the name), the young man was ok. Never really followed my requests on how to cut my pup’s fur. My pup gets anxiety from being in cages too long, so I always tell groomers to call me as soon as they are finished or close to being done. I don’t mind waiting to extra few mins or 1/2 hr. I told him to call me as soon as he was finished grooming my baby. He did not. I just happened to bump into him in the parking lot. When ask
