Petco Grooming

I have been to many grooming salons in Hamden and North Haven and the Petco in Hamden is by far the best. I have had several different dog breeds groomed there regularly and the service is always a 10! The staff in The Grooming Salon are so friendly and wonderful and do an amazing job. They are extremely knowledgeable in all things pertaining to the dogs coats and health. They always go above and beyond with suggestions and styles. Highly recommend!

Appointment was easily set up, one cancellation, ( of two ), was also done easily. The staff was great and welcoming to us and Toby, (dog), and their handling of him was great. After he was trimmed they made recommendations and complimented his behavior and looks. All in all, a good experience!

My dog loves Cathy P and she always does a fab groom. Dog is high strung but Cathy calms him down and he is picture perfect when I pick him up.

I was nervous to send my girls to a groomer they didn't know, but Cat was very good with them and also called me to inform me of the delay. Coco & Appa both look and feel great, they will be returning to see Cat.

The grooming was excellent. It was the healing another grooming at the end where no one told me about the increase in prices. The first time I win it was one price. The second time I went it was a totally different price, which I was very upset about. no one told me that she charged my weight so I felt like I was taking advantage of. I’m paying for something that I didn’t know about
