Petco Grooming

Kat is our groomer. She's so good with Lzzy. It was Lzzys birthday so Kat got her presents which was so nice of her! We think our dog can be difficult to work with but Kat always proves us wrong. Always comes through with a great haircut.

I booked the “soothe and repair for dry, itchy skin” due to my dog being itchy. I reminded them when I brought him in that he was itchy so they would take that into consideration when bathing him. His fur is very soft, he’s definitely clean, but his itching is 1,000 times worse after the bath and he’s so heavily perfumed my whole house still smells like it 2 days later. Potent enough to bring on a migraine for me yesterday. I get the impression he didn’t get the right package, while I did not expect a soothing bath to fully cure his itching, I also didn’t expect him to be up all night chewing himself raw.

The dog had just been to the vet the week prior and had a complete exam. She was cleared for a grooming. No infections, no redness and was given medication for yeast. When she was picked up after the grooming the comments made were she didn't want to do her again because she was red and had infection in her feet. Again, she was just at the vet 5 days prior. She looked like she was barely trimmed except for her face.

Both dogs looked great! One had difficulty relaxing so her groomer was patient didn't push her. Took her time with her. We will return for grooming and nail grinding.

Paige was fantastic and took the time to make sure all mattes were removed and she had great customer service!
