Petco Grooming

The groomer was incredibly unpleasant, as if she were having a very bad day and didn’t want to be there. Even her interactions with the client before us were very sour. I specifically stated I did not want my dog shaved. We discussed the few areas that were of concern (legs, behind ears) but she was not matted overall. When I picked her up, she’d been shaved and the groomer, very unpleasantly, told me how much work my dog had taken. Not only had she been shaved without notice (a phone call or text would have been appreciated), she also didn’t smell fresh like she’d been bathed and she had a bright red nick under her ear where she’d been shaved to her skin. Finally, when I combed her that evening, there were tangles, indicating that even with her short cut/shave, she hadn’t been brushed out

Denise and Debbie are awesome!! They did a great job grooming my two shih tzus and were incredibly communicative when it came to their grooming needs and wants!

First time visit for my cats nail trim. She is a senior cat and new to me, wasn’t sure how she would do, but she is known to be spicy some times. The groomer seemed well trained and the entire process was quick and efficient. My kitty did well and the groomer seemed like a true pro.

Debbie is our one and only groomer for our 2 shelties. She’s kind, caring, compassionate and has such a genuine love for fur babies! Wouldn’t go anywhere else as long as she’s there!

Overall their department is great but there's some things we haven't been happy about. Steve, the manager of the department, is wonderful. Every time we take our dog in he does a great job, helps keep our dog calm, and even on one trip he actually came out to the store and find us and said how great our dog was and a pleasure every time we bring him in. He is the only reason why we keep going back. Now the reason why it's only a 4 star is we did have a couple bad experiences, and it was with the same lady. Both times we could hear him thru out the store screaming and she straight up told us that he was a pain to deal with. We now call ahead of time to make sure Steve is there so we know he does it.
