Petco

They have NO CLUE or TRAINING on how to take care of Bearded Dragons!! Their habitats are horrible!!! The temps and humidity are WAYYYYY off!!! 110 needs to be a basking area !! 75'ish on thr cool side. With PROPER lighting! This is abuse to me!!

The woman who was managing the reptiles today at 9am refused a sale with me over a gecko. I understand the policy of refusing sales for the safety of animals as some people shouldn't be adopting. However, I stated that I have 8 years of experience owning leopard geckos and I have three boys at home who have been with me for years. I still got questioned on how I care for my leopard geckos and because how I care for my geckos did not match her criteria she denied me a sale. All of my geckos are rescues and have been healed and taken to the vet. The vet has ensured my care is good for their needs. The woman even questioned the vet I have and asked for his name which I didn't feel comfortable disclosing. From someone who has been keeping leopard geckos for years I know what is good for their

Do not take you pet here for grooming. We dropped off our peekaboo and picked him up 2.5 hrs later. The groomer clipped only his back and face. Never cut his sides, legs, underside, backside or tail. He was supposed to be given a bath and he had poop in the hair by his butt, clearly not bathed. Nails were not clipped because she said she had no one to help hold him. These pics don’t do justice. I called the manager and explained what happened. He refunded our money but we had to drive back to the store for the refund. I explained it was a 25 minute drive one way but we still had to come in. Nothing additional was offered to compensate for lost time and gas having to drive back in, effectively, 2 hrs lost in travel.
