Pet Supermarket

I came in last week to look around at a few of your snake terrariums and different set ups. I was very impressed with Jo! She was so helpful and answered all my questions! Will definitely be back!

Our intent of visiting the store was to purchase a family pet ( guinea pig preferably ) the store associate in these exact words said “ i don’t think that’s a good idea considering you have young children, they could give a guinea pig a heart attack “ I ask if the pet would adjust to its home environment - apparently no. They proceeded to recommend purchasing their ferret instead - funny thing the ferret was 400 dollars and the cage was 300. We did more research, went across the road to another pet shop, got a second opinion, and successfully came home with our beautiful boy guinea pig which is now apart of our family, matter of fact he is thriving!!! My children have been very gentle & patient with him he is already adjusting to us any time he is skittish we give him the space he needs.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Bought 3 snails for my aquarium, when I got them home 2 were empty and 1 was dead. I took them back and they exchanged them without issue. My only issue was the place did kind of smell bad like dirty water.

I really did not like this store at all. Everything was so overpriced. But what really upset me is when I saw the betta fish. They were in a little glass cup with a plant, so they couldn't even move around. That was honestly heartbreaking. If you want to pay for overpriced things, then this is your store .. but I highly recommend driving 5 minutes down the road to petco! If i could give this a zero plus stars, I definitely would! So sad.

Customer service is okay, they were out of catnip which is why I came. I should have called so I headed over to PetSmart. She said they had ordered catnip this week but it didn't come in the delivery. So I should try next week. But it goes to show that they're inventory and delivery service doesn't work very well. Recommend call ahead if it's a special item.
