Words cannot begin to explain how wonderful working with Tommy was! We brought our (almost) 3 year old miniature Dachshund, Piper, to work with Tommy after some concerns we had with her confidence and socialization with other humans and dogs! Tommy was INCREDIBLE to work with and really taught my husband and I both so much about how to best communicate with Piper in way that is more effective for everyone! We truly couldn’t be happier with the experience with Knoxville K9 Academy! If you’re considering training for your dog—no matter their age—we highly recommend! It has been one of the best investments we've made!

Having a well trained dog that can behave on and off leash has been the best experience. Tommy is great at teaching both dogs and humans and his training style is straightforward. I’m amazed at how much progress was made in such a short time especially with a somewhat stubborn breed. I highly recommend Knoxville K9 Academy.

Had the best experience at Knoxville K-9 Academy with our Scout. He was a wild oversized pup with zero discipline when we brought him to Tommy. Scout immediately responded to Tommy’s techniques and in a matter of weeks we had a better behaved dog who knows and responds to commands. I am confident taking him out in any public setting with a lot of people and other animals, feeling in total control as my dog responds to me instead of the distractions.

Tommy came highly recommended for training our puppy, and he didn’t disappoint. He’s a master of his craft and is artful in his training. He understands a dog’s behavior and needs and is patient in his training of both the dog and owners!! We (owners) and puppy enjoyed our lessons and the outcome was successful. We now have a puppy that we can control, and enjoy! I would highly recommend Tommy!

Tommy has been knowledgeable and patient with us and our pup Tucker. He is aways available to answer our questions or concerns and we can now have Tucker out with us anywhere and we are working towards off leash.
