First off, the new doctor, Dr. Sorlie is one of a kind and you cannot go wrong with her. Her love for animals encapsulates her well being as a super veterinarian. Secondly, however, the customer service needs a facelift in welcoming customers. Perhaps the solution here is to avoid overcrowding customers with dogs at the same time of appointments. Spreading the times farther from each other can give customer service a breathing space to smile and also customers can enjoy walking in the office at ease with no other dogs at their time of appointments.

Brought our kitty Eloise in when she stopped eating her food and was acting a bit lethargic. The front desk workers, techs, and vet were all super friendly and welcoming and were kind and gentle with Eloise even when she got a little bit sassy with them haha. Dr Sorlie did a great job explaining the findings and the options we had, and had Eloise feeling back to her normal self by the next morning. They had all the x-ray and bloodwork equipment on site so we didn’t have to wait for answers. She was upfront about the pricing of everything so we knew what we were getting into and didn’t feel suprised by the end bill like I’ve experienced at other places. Definitely recommend!

Perinton Vet took excellent care of my GSD Gina. She has a lot of anxieties especially with walking on floors without mats/rugs. They always make sure she has what she needs. Very professional, courteous and friendly.

Dr. Chelsea Spring is incredibly caring and truly one of a kind. She treats my precious ShihTzu, Sage - my little third child—with such gentleness, and she always makes me feel completely at ease. What truly sets her apart is the time she takes to explain everything with patience and clarity—never rushed, always thoughtful—and her commitment to making sure I understand all the options for Sage's care. The entire practice shows that same level of compassion and professionalism. I feel completely confident bringing Sage here, and I’m so grateful to have found a vet and a practice that genuinely care.

I’ve been taking my cats to Perinton Veterinary Hospital for over 10 years now. The vets, the vet techs and other support staff are consistently kind, caring and very competent! I never have an issue with getting an appointment within an appropriate amount of time (for sick visits too), or getting any questions answered over the phone by support staff regarding any issue or concern. This clinic is also very prompt in getting you into a room for your appointment once you check-in for an appointment (minimal wait room time). This is especially helpful if you have anxious animals! The clinic itself is very clean and well-maintained. The turnaround time between your appointment and getting any follow up results (always a phone call from the vet themselves) about bloodwork, other tests, etc. is
