Kresland Kennels

Although my boy did require joint surgery early on, he is the most wonderful dog I’ve ever been blessed with. Major is now 12.3 years old.

Was Shopping at Country Max in Farmington this afternoon. And My Husband said, "Look behind You!" As I turned around, there was a Darling very Light Colored Lab Pup! Almost White with Beautiful Dark eyes. Honestly, I am not a Lab person, per say. My Sister in Connecticut is! She's had Labs for 30 Years! Anyway, I have to say, This Little Guy in Country Max, stole my Heart! I asked His Owner how old He was. He was 10 weeks old, and came from Kresland's in Victor, I was told. His Name is "Kelly" as in Jim Kelly! This Little Doll proceeded to wrap His Little body around my leg. I can't get him out of my mind!! Talk about sweet, Well mannered, and endearing...

We have had three Labs from here. Two Chocolate and one Black. All have been or are perfect Dogs. One is now 10 and one is now 4. Great family dogs that my kids climb all over. I would never buy a dog elsewhere. When I told Sue the type of dog I wanted she gave me that exact dog. It was incredibly impressive.

My dad bought his Labradors from Kresland’s and I am so grateful Sue is still breeding! These animals are fabulous with children and so loving. Beautiful dogs inside and out!

I have a Kresland choc lab with the most wonderful disposition! He is a therapy dog. BUT by the time he was six months old he had double elbow dysplasia. That was surgery no. 1. 6 mos later: A torn ACL and meniscus, back leg requiring screws and plate… Surgery no.2. Another few months.. surgery no. 3 (same as the other back leg). When I look at his puppy pictures I see he’s always sitting off to the side and maybe if I knew more about labs I wouldn’t have taken him… But thank God I did instead of someone ignoring his pain. Major will be turning 7 on August 10… He is a wonderful boy but surgeries and physical therapy ended up costing me 20K. And yes I immediately contacted Kresland with NO offer of another pup or even reduced cost of another pup. So my second dog was a rescue.
