We adopted Sammy our GSD mix who was having issues with anxiety/ overstimulation. He had a hard time finding where to channel his energy. We sent him to the 4 week board and train with Lauren and Tim, and there are not enough words to explain how awesome they are! We went from having a dog who couldn’t be controlled on a leash/ walk by other dogs to a PERFECT walking buddy with manners! Lauren sent video and photo updates of his training during his stay. When she drove him back up to CT she did two training sessions with us to make sure we didn’t have any questions or concerns about Sammy. She is very thorough and knowledgeable about dog training, using a lot of positive reinforcement. Lauren with Pawsitive Paradise has dramatically changed our lives. We sent Millie our 4 month old Golden with her for a 5 week training course. Millie is a strong willed, happy(crazy) pup who just wanted to jump, run and EAT! Lauren sent me frequent video updates showing Millie’s progress and was very communicative with where we were and what she was prioritizing in terms of Millie’s training. Millie came home a new dog, she is the same happy, spunky girl, but with a greater sense of purpose. Hands down Lauren is one of a kind. I’ve never meet someone who is so talented with dogs. She knows them inside and out and is phenomenal. We have used almost all of her services and I cannot recommend them enough. She is very professional and delivers in every way. We use her to groom our yorkie poo and German shepherd. She is the first groomer who has taken her time to cut our yorkie poos hair. Every groomer we have been to they end up shaving him and when we pick him up we don’t even recognize him. Lauren and team did an amazing job for a board and train of our 2.5 year old pug/lab mix. Since he’s gotten home, we’ve noticed major improvements: no more jumping, he no longer growls at new people, and he listens to us much better. Lauren is always super responsive when we have questions about follow-up training. We’re happy we went with Pawsitive Paradise!

I just can't say enough good things about Lauren and her team. We have a very large puppy and knew he needed formal training. We can take him anywhere now and he's the best behaved boy! Lauren also helped us with our older dog who needed a refresher and was reactive to dogs and noises. The change in him is amazing. Visitors come in our house now and it's peace instead of chaos! I appreciate Lauren's honesty in letting us know what we need to change at home and how we interact with the dogs. We are just so happy!!
