This shelter needs a complete over haul and I pray tht they get what they need. Zero stars!!!! It's pretty run down to say the least. You could smell very strong urine in the parking lot and walking in they have drop ceilings and the smell really hits you. WORST than BAD!!! I have been to shelters no way!! ***Buyer --ADOPTER BEWARE!!** Stupid ol me...I adopted a dog advertised as a 2 yr old Pomeranian. I Google Lensed my dog's pic and she's not even a Pomeranian....she is a German Spitz!! People were telling me "She looks like a baby fox!" Not even close Pomeranians are toy breeds. Get it together Pawsitive..and get your breeds right! Use Google Lens. The worst part of the adoption is they adopted her out to me SICK and YOU SIGN THE PAPERWORK and are FULLY responsible for anything

Good shelter with adorable dogs. They are truly doing their best. They can always use donations for cleaning supplies. Please stop by and drop off supplies to support them. Laundry detergent, paper towels. Otherwise it’s hard for a shelter to keep up with rising costs. I understand that the smell is strong sometimes. But if the community came together and dropped off items - it would help with maintenance, and allow more strays and abandoned dogs to find homes. They need help with supplies.

The people here were so very nice! They truly want good homes for their rescues. They are passionate and caring for their animals and the people searching. You don’t have to jump through hoops to bring home a furry love. They have all the information you need on the care of these friends.

Amazing people! Volunteers who show up every Tuesday to help dogs get the proper vaccines and shots they need for a very discounted price. They even chip your PO ets as well as give all the necessary shots for under $50. Plus they have a food drive for animals as well.

I recently attended a pop-up event hosted by Pawsitive Impact Pet Rescue, and while the idea behind it was great, my experience was frustrating. I brought my two children, ages 5 and 8, who were really excited to meet a puppy. The staff, including a woman named Karen, allowed them to spend about 30 minutes with the dog. The kids were very friendly, and the puppy responded so well, giving them its paw, licking them, and staying by their side even when others came around. However, after they had bonded with the puppy, Karen informed us that they don’t allow families with young children to adopt puppies and only recommend adult dogs. I completely understand if there are policies in place, but this should have been communicated before letting my kids get so attached. It was heartbreaking for
