Houndstooth Grooming

I’ve been my dog Millie to Emily for a while now and she does very well every cut! We’ve struggled finding a groomer who can cut her the way we want but Emily gets it right every time. She has also groomed my other dog Mya, who isn’t the best with strangers but Emily was able to get her done with no issues and I’m glad to know if I ever need a groomer for my “not so stranger friendly dog” she is the one to go to. Emily has a lifelong customer with me for as long as I live in the Joliet, IL area. I wish nothing but the success for her business and I will always recommend anyone looking for a groomer to book with her. She is professional and caring. Absolutely fabulous! I bring my dog over from the city because Emily does such a great job! Every visit is easy and despite my anxiety pupper it’s always flawless.

I highly recommend taking your pet here! Emily was accommodating in the scheduling of the appointment and great with my dog. He was a little nervous being in a new place, but she did a great job making him comfortable! His groom looks great, and she followed my preferences perfectly! Also, the facility is kept extremely clean and smells nice (definitely something you don’t always see at most grooming salons!!). Definitely returning as a client when my dog’s due next for a haircut.

Emily is a gem! I foster pups and she took on one of my biggest challenges. I was nervous for HER when she accepted an appt w/ one of my rough background pups and she was successful. I stayed behind in my car ready to come save her just in case when I received an update 30 minutes later that my Luna was doing fantastic. Her confidence, reading of the dogs behavior, and assurance made the whole experience frictionless.
