Rude beyond compare. The intake person at this facility should be replaced immediately. No one adopts because of the treatment when they try to see and slect a dog. Surrendering a dog should not take an act of Congress and a 7 week waiting period. When the country wonders why abandon animals is increasing...you have only to look at the state of affairs at the Animal Shelter. Shameful...totally shameful.

As I understand this to be a 3 million dollar facility, it boggles my mind as to the incredible stench in this building. No ventilation equals disease to fester just as it does in a hospital that is not ventilated which is unheard of. Considering calling news station to investigate. Clean up your act Maury Co.

I totally agree with your review Joan How sad I couldn't enjoy visiting the animals due to the terrible odor there is no lak of staff standing around or sitting behind the desk. Please ventilate this facility properly and keep staff busy cleaning up! these animals deserve better!
