I attempted to adopt a cat over the course of 1.5-2 years through this organization and donated/sponsored only to receive 1-2 responses. I understand it’s all volunteer but it’s nearly impossible to adopt from them.

I’m a Kansas City resident and foster for Paws-n-Claws ANYTIME I have availability. Not only do they let me do in home checks to ensure my foster babies are going to the most amazing homes, they’ve always helped me when I needed a bag of food for the growing puppies. They pull dogs from my “local shelters” who will be put to sleep if not for them. I love them and I can’t speak highly enough about their team!!

Paws and Claws needs to do the right thing and give Pickles back to Gabi. It’s unbelievable that a dog rescue and it’s manager/owner can be so heartless. This little girl has had enough heart break after loosing her father. The manager/owner is fully aware of the situation but is still unwilling to help get this puppy back to her.

I absolutely love and appreciate Paws-n-Claws. I have adopted 2 rescues and have fostered the last couple of years. These rescuers have full lives and jobs and work and breathe rescue. All animals are rescued...they say YES to all furry friends in need despite the condition they are in, despite the cost for emergency treatments and specialty medical cases, despite the cost of van rentals and gas and time to travel to pick up animals surrendered, on top of all vetting, assessments, proper care, spaying, neutering and getting everyone vaccinated. Again they say yes as much as they can. They feed these furry friends, they provide collars and leashes, amoung other everyday day needs such as toys, chew items for the chewers, puppy pads for the babies, diapers for the medically needed, crates/ke

We have two amazing corgis thanks to Paws-N-Claws! They are happy healthy pups and we would have never met with without the hard work Rachel puts in every day. Rachel does a fantastic job helping as many pets as humanly possible find homes which is SO hard to do with a tiny staff and foster network. For those that have anything negative to say about response rate maybe you could volunteer in your spare time?
