PAWS Atlanta

We stopped by PAWS to consider getting a cat and fell in love with Rocky (fka Saucy)!! I could tell he was very well cared for and loved while at the shelter. The staff was so excited and helpful in our adoption process, thrilled to see him end up with his forever family (finally!). They even provided a soft crate for us to carry him out, as all we had was a cardboard box and blanket. They gave great instructions on how to best integrate him into his new home, since we are first-time cat owners. We've had him for 3 weeks already and adore him. I admire the staff who work here so much. They are amazing people, doing wonderful work to take care of these animals.

PAWS Atlanta is full of truly good people. Everyone I met there had such a kind heart and real love for the animals. Even though they have so many pets to care for, they still took the time to love on Buford a friendly, sweet, loveable stray cat who had been hanging around our office. It meant so much to see how gentle and caring they were with him and to know they’ll help him find the loving home he deserves. I’m so thankful for everything they do for animals like Buford. It really shows that they care. ❤️🐾

Wonderful place . We got the most beautiful puppy 1.5 years old, 100lb lap dog❤️. A bundle of joy. He is a handful that’s for sure.! The staff was over the top kind ,knowledgeable ,so very nice! It’s a very professional and just wonderful people. We said don’t big black dogs have it very hard in shelters so that’s what we’re looking for and they replied “every dog that’s adopted helps no matter.”

This is a no kill animal shelter. They assess your pet/animal prior to accepting- althea reserve the right to decline intake of an animal. Donations - animal related or cash accepted. Thank God for wonderful places, like paws!

I wanted to adopt a dog being mine had passed on and the staff was very nonchalant and was basically quick to get rid of me. Told me I had to make an appointment to come in there. I had to go online and find a dog and if it's available, they'll schedule me to come see it. Then told me where to go to to get a dog. I was like well... damn, this is the place I donate dog food, etc anonymously and this is how they treat people... Thanks!!
