Palmetto Animal League Adoption Center

We adopted Major aka Ezra in July. The process was easy. I did have a questionnaire to fill out. They really care about what kind of people and home the fur babies are going to. Major has been a joy to have. He lifted our spirits after losing our beloved dog Lexi. He loves to play and take walks. He’s 8 months old now and thinks he’s a lapdog. lol. Our fault of course. He’s a love bug. Thank you for letting us have him.

I adopted my cat a couple days ago I really love her. The people were nice. I’m giving it a one star because it does smell horrible once you walk in I’m guessing because they don’t sanitize properly or clean well. My cat seemed sick. I went to my vet clinic they told me he’s sick due to the quality air that they have at the animal shelter and because it extinct really bad

Wow, could not give enough thanks to the wonderful folks at PAL who helped me adopt my cat, Peas. The process was quick and easy, and they even had a spare carrier for her to ride in home! I’ve never owned a cat before, but they helped answer all my questions I could have. I couldn’t be happier to have met my cat, and found her through the excellent shelter that PAL runs. Thank you all so much for what you do for these animals and your community.

I'd rather see the dogs personally than a posed picture. Adoption is wonderful. Went Saturday 1/17/26 and was only showed pictures. Old school Old man. Went to another place and 2 hours later adopted a good dog in need. Saw puppies at Palmetto, but the stench was very bad.

I recently adopted a cat from Palmetto Animal League, and although my sweet boy turned out to be very sick, the team has been absolutely amazing through the entire process. From the very beginning, they’ve shown so much care, compassion, and dedication not just to the animals, but to the people who adopt them. They have gone above and beyond to help make sure my cat is getting the best care possible and have been there to answer every question along the way. You can really tell how much they love and believe in what they do. I’m so grateful for their kindness and support and would absolutely recommend Palmetto Animal League to anyone looking to adopt.
