Oswego Vet is the best vet that I have ever been to. I had the privilege of taking our 14-year-old cat to Oswego Vet for the last three years of her life. I truly feel that they care. They are patient, kind, and compassionate. Olive was certainly a spicy little kitty who didn’t like being at the vet, and I never once felt judged or rushed. Every member of their staff still showed her love and patience. They truly took the time to meet her where she was and to make her as comfortable as possible. They cared deeply about Olive and about giving her the very best care they could. From thoughtfully walking me through tests and options, to answering every question I had, to being honest while still incredibly gentle, I always felt supported and informed. I have been taking my animals to Oswego Veterinary Hospital for over 30 years, and I continue to do so even though I no longer live nearby. That alone says a lot. The entire team genuinely loves animals, and it shows in every interaction. They even care for my very spicy cat, Stevie, with patience, humor, and compassion. I’m pretty sure the vet might actually be my cat Otis’s favorite place — even when he has an upset tummy. He absolutely soaks in the care and gentle “massage” (aka physical exam), returning the favor with licks, rubs, and enthusiastic air biscuits. It’s clear he feels safe and adored there. Dr. Nomi and the entire staff are amazing, Kind, gentle and thorough. Our Molly is a bit of a diva and they are always so patient with her. I never feel pressured into treatments which I appreciate greatly. I highly recommend Oswego Vet!

I purchased my kitties at Lake Oswego Petco that were from a shelter. The veterinarian office that was attached to their file was Oswego Vet. I'd never been there before and found them to be really nice. The appointment was made quickly and the doctor and tech were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. . They played with the kittens, gave them treats, and even some toys. The vet was so good, I didn't even realize she had done one of the kitten's exam while she was playing with them. She was really great. I felt like they really cared and were obviously animal lovers.

Dr Ward performed a routine surgery (tooth removal) and my friends dog came out of the vet with a missing eye. They pushed too hard on the inside of her mouth and it punctured the back of the dogs eye. The story gets worse- we had to go to another vet to have her eye removed. Oswego Vet wouldn’t cover the cost. They made us pay out of pocket and then deal with their insurance (who was a pain in the a**). The customer service (or lack there of) here is incredible. They blew her eye out and basically told my friend: “deal with it” 🤯 Continue to fast forward - it took about 6 months to get reimbursed from the insurance company. Did Oswego vet care? Absolutely not. Here’s why it took 6 months: the insurance company wouldn’t reimbuse until we found receipt for a $10 prescription and an $8 c
