Lucid Dog Training

We've been working with Chris for the last month with our 2 yr old Lab and he is great. He Starts with very simple commands and training and advances at a very solid pace. We could not be happier with his work and professionalism. I would highly recommend him and his services to anyone.

I’ve been working with Chris for a few weeks now and am having amazing success with my dog. Specifically, we have been working with her staying in her bed by the front door when visitors come over and come in the house. The other day, her best dog friend came over and was wiggling and barking and lunging in the front entryway and she calmly stayed in her place on the bed. It was really amazing to see after only a few weeks of training. Chris and his team are providing weekly support to ensure that we are making progress and tracking along as we should. I am thoroughly impressed and couldn’t believe how well my dog with such a high stimulus around. I would highly recommend Chris’ training service, as we are seeing such amazing success already.

We are only midway through training me and my highly skittish, reactive 7-year-old labradoodle, but wowzie - I can’t believe how far we’ve already come! Chris makes training easy, bite-sized and fun - and it’s effective. I’m now aware of my role in some behaviors, and my dog is gaining confidence that translates into less reactivity and neediness. I really wish I would have done this long ago - it’s worth every penny!

Chris at Lucid is an exceptional dog trainer. He helped me with 3 young shorty Jack Russell terriers that had increasing problems between them. He gave me practical solutions and help in understanding them and avoiding fights. I highly recommend hiring him to help with problem canine behaviors, plus he is very nice too.

I have done training with dog companions over many years, yet I never expected the level of training that Lucid provided to Meg and her human, me. Nearing completion of the 15-week session, Meg loves the new things she learns and I understand how to communicate to her what she can accomplish - which is pretty astounding when you’ve got the right trainer. I would like to say, “wow, she is so smart” but the truth is it’s we humans who need to learn how to best educate our dogs and Lucid is the best program I’ve experienced for this.
