Unprofessional disgusting display of power you could hear the smile on officer white face when he said he put our dog down after 72hrs from a meeting on a false complaint. They told us 14 days after the meeting to reclaim our dog with a bill of $1800+. With little to No help after talking to the director they took $300 off the bill… The officer Newsham went to the magistrate and got a warrant on a false allegation under oath and took my dog with no evidence but hearsay.

I had a terrible experience trying to surrender a dog my husband and I rescued. A homeless man gave her to us after we offered him money for dog food. She was malnourished with a makeshift leash of rope and wire. The shelter turned me away, claiming we took ownership by taking the dog. Their rude response was completely unhelpful, especially considering the dog's condition. We were trying to do the right thing by getting her into a safe place, but this shelter made it impossible. I'm shocked by their lack of compassion and unwillingness to help an animal in need.

I recently came in to return a kitten that unfortunately didn’t work out with me and my family. I was under the impression that returning the cat was the responsible thing to do, but the lady at the front desk “the heavier-set woman” was extremely rude and made me feel guilty for doing so. I couldn’t believe how unprofessional and unpleasant she was. Her attitude and tone made what was already a difficult situation much worse, and I honestly don’t think someone with that demeanor should be the first point of contact for visitors. She came across as someone who clearly doesn’t enjoy her job, and it showed. I rescued my new baby “brownie” but changed her name to Blair so we can put this shelter behind us. Was given false information about covering her heart worm treatment from a staff but front desk completely denied it. Pissed me off. I’m only 20 and yet have to be the bigger person and rub the attitude and rudeness off. Yet these women maybe closer to 40?. Ugly personalities and no care for the job. I may come back and recuse another dog from that hell.
