It was my shepherd's first visit to a vet and the staff made his first time as comfortable as possible. Prices are reasonable for such a large dog. This will be our choice to take our pets moving forward.

Being with OVH for over 5 years, we’ve basically become family. Dr Stafford and the support staff are just amazing. Dr Stafford is so incredibly kind, caring, and ethical. She’s been with us through the worst times in our lives and some of the happiest. I am always comfortable with my care there and will always fully trust Dr Stafford. My girls are always so well loved and cuddled up to during their visits, which means a lot because one of them is a big baby. After reading some reviews, take into consideration how much abuse the veterinary profession takes on. The prices they set at OVH are MORE than fair. If you’re unhappy that you have to pay for your visit up front (that you will have to pay anyway?) you probably shouldn’t own pets. They have to make a living and people cancelling or n

Oneonta veterinary hospital, offers top-notch service for our pets. We’ve been taking our two Yorky poos there for years. And we’ve had outstanding results with the work of this team. The vet techs are kind and considerate, Dr. Stafford is a great communicator and really cares about the animals that she sees. I would highly recommend this veterinary practice to my neighbors and colleagues.

I’ve waited a long time since my pets last visit to Dr. Stafford before posting this but finally felt compelled to share my experience here. We trusted this practice with our pets after losing the best vet to cancer, Dr. Dan in Stamford, and while nothing bad happened to OUR animals (Dr. Stafford at this practice is known for having multiple pet deaths on her hands and being a avid NDA pusher), we still have a negative attitude towards this practice. Dr. Stafford misdiagnosed our pets with 2 unique and rare assessments, both requiring costly treatments. Our dogs killed a porcupine and one of them had hundreds of quills in her mouth, even going down her throat. Fortunately for us, they were able to see us right away. Pamela, the head veterinarian there is awesome. She was very kind and composed even though we were freaking out. Hannah, the other vet, was also really nice and the rest of the staff is great too. 5 stars, they rescued my babies and potentially saved one of my dog’s lives. I’ll be singing their good graces from here on. We plan to take all our animals to them going forward!
