I really appreciated them cremating our cat for a price we could afford however. After we dropped him off I had emailed them letting them know not to cremate the blanket that was with him and that we wanted it back cause it was important to us. {we didn’t take the blanket off him cause we felt it wasn’t right to put his body in a cold hard crate. It felt disrespectful to remove the blanket. Grief is weird} I didn’t get a response but figured it was read. We kept the door and the screws to the crate because we didn’t want him to be crammed in there and we figured we’d get the crate back to put it back together. The newest member of our family came home from Kitty City. Neeko (Doneko) is our our newest fur baby. Wonderful non-profit. Kind, clean, organized.

The new facility is gorgeous, you can tell the volunteers greatly care about the animals available for adoption! They work with you to find an animal that will work with you and your living situation. I recently went to the Fall Festival they had last weekend and the haunted house had great displays and a nice dark setup ! There was also a games room for kids and a beer garden for adults! Fun for the whole family, I hope they hold another next year!

It's unfortunate. This place does not operate as a humane society. I tried to get them to take an injured cat and they refused. They are trying to deflect these animals onto local private veterinarian clinics that are not set up for long term care of these animals. I have heard rumor they are mismanaging funds at the very least. This county needs a real humane society.
