Everyone at Blue Mountain Animal Clinic, and I mean everyone all the time, is exceptional. I’ve not had an I have not had a dog in 30 years, until a couple of years ago when we got our four month sheep-a-doodle. As an highly committed but nervous new father I wanted to care for our new family member as best as possible. We initially went to Graywolf for his first few months of initial care and we were satisfied UNTIL we had what I thought needed to be an emergency visit on a Friday morning. The vet caring for our animal was on duty that day, but throughout the morning and into the afternoon, and up until late afternoon, she would not see him because she was “too busy”. After recently moving to Sequim I was really worried about finding a new veterinarian for my kids, but I feel I’ve hit the jackpot here! Truly the best vet I’ve ever been to!! The staff was super friendly, communicative, helpful, and GREAT with animals. Dr Thiel was gentle and efficient at handling the boys AND very knowledgeable about the differences in sighthound physiology and condition requirements! Even my aloof sighthound boys had a great first experience and loved the staff from the jump. Both the boys were able to relax and lay on the floor while waiting. Wonderful care at extremely reasonable pricing. All my animals will be going here!!

I’m genuinely saddened to write this, but I feel it’s important for other pet owners to know about our recent experience. We had been clients of this clinic for some time, but when it came to arranging our dog Leia’s end-of-life care, the lack of follow-through was deeply disappointing. Despite reaching out well in advance and being told we would receive a call to confirm arrangements, no one followed up. Even after a second email, we received no response. Because of this, we had to turn to another veterinarian on very short notice, which added stress during an already painful time. I truly hope the clinic can address these communication issues, as it’s so important for families going through difficult moments with their beloved pets.

It's all about the money. One of my pets needed a cardiology exam and we were referred to the clinic by my regular vet. We booked an appointment on the day a travelling cardiologist was scheduled to be there. We were forced to pay upfront before they would even book our appointments. We paid quite a bit, for a regular office visit (which only took a few moments) to quality as one of their own patients before the cardiology appointment began, which was also prepaid. After our consultations concluded, I was asked to pay an additional $200 on top of the hundreds I had already prepaid. I was not impressed with any of the staff. They kept addressing my pet as "she" although he has a male name and I had to verify that the gender listed on his file was correct. It was. I was unsure if they we

Excellent care and done with professionalism from all involved . As an emergency visit they worked us in their very busy schedule and the needed treatment was done .
