Dr Shaver was recommended by 2 people i know after a horrible experience with a different Veterinarian. My girl needed nails cut and staples removed that were way past due for removal. Carried our 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer to them after being at 2 other vets in Kinston. We have been fighting what one of the vets labeled “Severe Ear Infection in both ears” since August 16, 2025. After multiple visits (4 to be exact) to this vet office, on October 3, 2025 I had enough and my pup wasn’t any better. I was able to do a Walk-In here at Northside. Before I could even fill out the paperwork for a new client they had my little girl on an examination table and drawing bacteria from her ears to see what they were dealing with. Not to mention this was all done in front of me and not behind another wall where you couldn’t see what they were doing or be with them. Best veterinarian clinic I have ever been to hands down! Very caring staff and vet that help in times of emergency but don't price gauge you either! You can feel comfortable knowing you pet will be as loved and cared for as you would do if you were a vet!
