Lenoir County SPCA is truly an outstanding shelter! They go above and beyond to care for every animal that comes through their doors, treating each one with compassion, patience, and love. They work tirelessly to make sure every pet is placed in the best, most loving home possible. The staff is incredibly friendly, caring, and dedicated. You can genuinely see how much they love what they do and the animals they serve. If you’re looking to adopt, support, or volunteer, this is a place that truly puts the well-being of animals first. They are making a real difference, one life at a time. 🐶🐱❤️

The people I adopted my new baby from were excellent. Personable and explained everything to me. We're patient with all my questions. Took a pic of me and my baby for their adoption wall. Would Def adopt another pet from here.

Absolutely amazing, I can’t emphasize enough how amazing they are. You can really tell they love and care about the animals there. They let you foster before you adopt, which is awesome. And because of them I found my best friend.

We have humanely captured a feral cat and need to drop it off to SPCA asap. I am disappointed that there are no after hours deposit cages or bins to place the cat in on a Sunday afternoon. We will not harm the cat, but it will NOT leave our yard due to our pet cats having lots of food and water! Some animals may be helped and protected if an after-hours drop-off option is provided to the citizens of Lenoir County.

Our shelter does a really good job of taking the best care of all the animals that come in, getting them ready, and sending them off to new homes. As usual for shelters, money is always limited, so please donate or volunteer when you can.
