Dr. Lloyd at North Dekalb Veterinary Clinic is an exceptional veterinarian with a level of patience and care that is rare to find. He understands cats in a way most vets don’t. Cats hide their pain, stress easily, and can be difficult to examine, but he handles them with calm confidence and incredible gentleness. My cat, Panda, hisses through nearly every appointment and makes it very clear how she feels about vet visits, but Dr. Lloyd handles her beautifully. He never rushes, stays calm the entire time, and somehow manages to complete a full exam while keeping her as comfortable as possible. It is honestly amazing to watch. We visited North DeKalb Veterinary Clinic when our regular vet was booked up. I took my cat to see Dr Lloyd and he was so thorough and compassionate! He put both my cat and me at ease and formulated a treatment plan. Shy Ronnie is still recovering but I feel sure she’s in good hands with Dr Lloyd.
We love North Dekalb Veterinary Clinic! Dr. Lloyd is a true cat whisperer! Our cats love him! ;-) The service is very professional, the employees are kind and helpful. (For example, I had a scheduling issue which was resolved quickly without fuss.) The location is great. Totally recommend this place!
We love North Dekalb Veterinary Clinic! We trust them with both oudr cats and dogs. We are always able to get an appointment quickly. The providers are friendly, knowledgable and thorough. They are always considerate of cost and offer affordable options or alternatives. We have been so happy and will continue to use them!
Dr. Lloyd is the best! I drive from Midtown because he’s an exceptional veterinarian. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and clearly invested in his patients. I trust him completely with both my cats. He always knows what to do, has a clear plan and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand.
