I had been with Dr Hambright since around 2004 when my Standard Poodle was a year old. He took care of my dog throughout her life. She passed in 2015. In 20020 we got an 8 week old miniature Schnauzer puppy. I don’t know how I would have gotten through his first 4 years without Dr Hambright. He retired about a year ago. He might still come in for surgeries and rechecks, but not sure he is still doing that. He was the kindest, most compassionate, and supportive veterinarian I have had. And I have had dogs since 1975. Fortunately when he retired Dr Carole Foster was there full time. She had been a veterinarian at MEAC for 28 years and apparently had joined Nebel Street Animal Hospital Naturally I scheduled an appointment with her when my dog needed to be seen. Highly recommend Dr. Coffee! She is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and most of all, patient. She takes the time to examine, explain, and answer any questions and made me feel like a priority. She's also gentle, eager to help my dog, intuitive and thorough with what my dog needed. I'm so glad I decided to come here and will continue doing so. Front desk staff were also so nice!

Started taking our dog when I moved to the area 3 years ago and never had a bad experience: administrative staff was always courteous, space was always clean, medical staff was always knowledgeable. But nothing surpassed my expectations more then when the time came to help Rooney cross the Rainbow Bridge: 1) leaniancy in scheduling procedure - they allowed me to wait for the kids to come home from school 2) a comfortable private room to say goodbye - it wasn't just any available exam room, I sat on a couch and snuggled with him as we said our goodbyes 3) gentle explanations of his condition and options - when the doctor I spoke with in the morning wouldn't be available later in the day, she informed me of who would be assisting us and when it came time the new doctor was informed of our ci

Do NOT take your pets to this awful place, it is a shadow of what it used to be with great staff and doctors replaced by no accountability, zero personal touch, zero attention to personal details about your pet and don't give a shit attitude that is hard to miss. after being a client of 25 years and an advocate i am fed up, i havent seen the same doctor for past 9 months( more than half were either inexperienced or not so bright), two weeks ago my dog incision (4 inches ) opened up by poor handling of this associate francis who never seems to be "present" or have basic understanding of handling a dog with leash and harness straps pressing on incision part and her aggressive pulling of the leash causing the ruin to open up fully on the same day stitches were removed. after i had talked to 3

Loved Dr Hambright. He retired. Loved Dr Foster. Came in for an appoint recently and confirmed a dental cleaning with, I thought, Dr Foster. Told she left! No reason. What! If one of your vets leaves, the right thing to is to notify the person (esp., if have an upcoming procedure scheduled) and introduce the ?new or other vets via a call and later a letter to all…. Shocking, really and cause for concern.
