I have been bringing my cat to Mount Carmel since the Dr. Dunn and Dr. Farrell days. I remember them telling me they were going to retire and a new vet was going to take over. I was a little nervous at first but when I met Dr. Stewart she was kind, knowledgable and her love for animals was apparent. I have had nothing but good experiences at this veterinary hospital and truthfully will never understand all of the negativity they get. The staff has always been pleasant, Dr. Stewart is always communicative and transparent. She goes above and beyond for my cats, one of whom has been going there for almost 15 years now. She answers each and every one of my questions thoroughly, with honesty and sincerity, even after hours. Dr. Stewart and her staff rescue and work with the neediest, abused and

THIS IS THE WORSTTTTTTTTT Vet Clinic. IF YOU HAVE A CAT DO NOT IM BEGGING YOU DO NOT BRING YOUR CAT/KITTEN TO THE VET HERE. It truthfully feels like the veterinarian here doesn’t like a single thing about her profession. The times that I have brought my KITTEN: she made comments about turning her away for surgery because she was “scared”, not wanting to service her due to my kitten (NOT EVEN 6 months old) Hissing at her. She was “afraid of how my cat would act” when performing her neutering. HOW ARE YOU A veterinarian and afraid of an animal you are trained to service? When we finally neutered my kitten, she treated her horribly prior to surgery. I wish i knew what went on after we dropped her off because post surgery my kitten had MANY complications not to mention COMPLETELY Traumat

I cannot recommend Mount Carmel Animal Hospital enough. I adopted my cat a few years ago after an employee of MTC was fostering him and his siblings for Halfway Home Rescue. My family has also adopted an amazing dog and cat from Mount Carmel after they took them in to help out the local rescues and animal control. It is clear that both Dr. Stewart and her amazing staff genuinely care for animals, both patients and those in need of homes. Dr. Stewart is incredibly thorough and makes sure that her clients are well informed of all treatment options and goes above and beyond to make sure animals are getting the best care. My family pets all have various medical needs and Mount Carmel has provided amazing care to ensure they are both happy and healthy. If you are looking for a vet who provides

The practice has violated ethical standards when replying to a post and revealed my dogs, names and dates of services on a public forum without my permission. Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR): The VCPR is the foundation of veterinary medicine. It requires that client information and patient records be kept confidential and not disclosed to third parties without the client's consent, except as required by law (e.g., reporting certain contagious diseases). In addition to this violation of privacy, I had left the practice in 2018 because my dog became paralyzed due to a spinal injury at the age of 11, my options were humane euthanasia or an $8000 surgery. Dr. Stewart did not listen to me that it was a lot of money and I couldn’t afford the surgery, she was insistent that I ge

I have only had positive experiences at Mount Carmel. I have had the pleasure of volunteering at this hospital for over three months while in college. Dr. Stewart could not have been more accommodating with my schedule. She reached out multiple times to offer support whether on my veterinary school application or about interesting developments at the hospital. The quality of care at this hospital is unimaginable with Dr. Stewart and the staff treating every patient like their own. Dr. Stewart takes the time to not only know every client by name but to make sure every patient is comfortable in appointments. It saddens me to see some of these negative reviews as I know from experience they are entirely false. I couldn't be happier to have spent so much time at Mt. Carmel and I cannot wait t
