Minnesota Valley Pet Hospital

I moved to Mankato about four months ago, and my cat had her last wellness check 5 months ago (before moving). My elderly cat first showed signs of distress on a Sunday, and I booked an appointment with MVPH the following Tuesday after getting records sent to them on Monday. Unfortunately, my cat’s condition deteriorated quickly. I got her in to be seen quickly at All Pet’s in Mapleton on Wednesday, as I knew Friday was the earliest MVPH was able to get her in. Following her appointment on Wednesday, I had to make the tough decision to let my girl go to sleep. I was impressed and happy to see that MVPH had a separate entrance and room for pets who are going to sleep. We unfortunately lost our sweet dog Roxy the other day but Minnesota Valley Pet Hospital was a blessing for us. Losing our sweet girl was completely unexpected and she was not going to make it to her usual vet out of town. I had called around to other places and they referred us to emergency clinics in the Twin Cities. As we started our drive there, Roxy started to decline fast and we knew she was passing. We knew she wasn't going to make it to either the emergency vet or to her usual clinic out of town. We decided to stop at MVPH as we knew Roxy's time was near and we just needed to make her comfortable. Unfortunately, she passed away in the car just as we arrived. Recently switched to this vet, our cat Yuqi had an appointment today to take care of an ulcer on her lip. My husband brought her in and he said he was very impressed by the entire staff! I was very impressed when he brought home the receipt 😂. I think we are going to really like it here!

Love this place. Had to take my poor baby girl in for her bad cough that developed overnight and they were very quick and friendly! Explained everything to me thoroughly and gave me the medicine needed to help with her healing and throwing up. I never really write reviews but the process of the whole ordeal was smooth and the staff were helpful, which calmed me down. Plus the end bill didn't cost me an arm and a leg! My puppy is finally sleeping soundly thanks to them 😊

Cannot express enough how grateful I have been for these girls and guys! For years we have gone here and its always a wonderful experience!
