Mid Island Animal Hospital: Mitchell Kornet DVM

Dr. Kornet and the staff of Mis Island Animal Hospital are all phenomenal. They go above and beyond with the care they give to their patients. My two dogs growing up were patients of Dr. Kornet at Mid-Island as well as both dogs I have had as an adult. I travel from NYC to see him, and Dr. Kornet and his staff are worth the trip.

Excellent caring doctors and staff. Always able to give you an appointment and never pushy about procedures or medications not absolutely necessary. We are very happy with Mid Island.

Dr. Kornet and the staff at Mid Island have always been wonderful to me and my dog since the very first vet visit when he was 7 weeks old. It is truly evident how much they care and go the extra mile for their patients. My dog is now two years old and recently presented with the possibility of fractured upper fourth premolars. Dr. Kornet examined the teeth very carefully and had X-rays done to confirm their vitality. He noted how traumatic of a procedure it would be to have them removed, especially for a young dog, and further consulted with not one but multiple dental specialists before confirming the teeth were healthy and didn't need to be extracted. He kept me updated throughout the entire process and was very thorough in answering all of my questions. The staff was so kind and patient
