My English Setter has been enrolled bird dog training here and have been thoroughly impressed. Their expertise, dedication, and communication were beyond expectations. The place is well set up , simulating real hunting scenarios that significantly contributed to my dog's progression. Ryan is not only knowledgeable but also exceptionally caring, making the entire process a collaborative and enjoyable experience. Absolutely amazing trainers…..my black lab Hunter does not come from any special bloodlines…..they have him trained for upland game and waterfowl….he points on birds and holds in the field like a German shorthair and retrieves ducks and geese like a pro…..holding till released…..cannot recommend these guys enough!!!

Ryan and Blake run a top notch program. You would be hard pressed to find someone with more dog training knowledge than Ryan. The cool thing about Long Hollow is Ryan is very well versed in Upland Bird dogs and Retrieves. His experience in both retriever training as well as upland makes him a very well rounded dog trainer. I personally have been to his kennel and you can rest assured your best friend will be well cared for. I have own a couple dogs that have been trained by Ryan and I couldn’t be more happier with the outcome of my dogs.

I appreciate the effort Ryan and Blake put into their craft. They are passionate about gun dogs and it shows in the final product. Both my Pudlepointer and Lab have been trained by them and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have purchased two dogs from Ryan, my first was a yellow Lab puppy(Gus). I picked him up at 1 yr old very well socialized and trained. He often hunts out of a blind in the morning and chases pheasants in the afternoon. Does both extremely well. He is back with Ryan and Blake now for round two of advanced training. I recently bought an English Setter ( Scooby) from Ryan, he is finishing his training now. If you want great dogs, very well trained by someone who is passionate about his trade and is very good at it, this is the place for a hunting dog
