Customer Reviews
My Corgi, Muffin, is in the best hands at this facility. We’ve worked with orthopedic, allergy, and physical therapy specialists, and everyone has been incredibly kind and attentive. They always prioritize Muffin’s well-being and ensure we’re fully informed about any treatment plans they recommend. Muffin absolutely adores visiting, and the students, doctors, and other staff members are incredibly sweet and caring towards her. Muffin is very special to us and they consistently make decisions that are in her best interest.
The staff were very professional and knowledgeable. We took our dog there expecting a cataract assessment and unfortunately we received worse news. Our dog has a non-curable progressive disorder that is going to take her eyesight and we can't do anything about it. However the staff we're very empathetic and offered any support that we might need. The facility itself is very clean and well thought out. We highly recommend Lloyd veterinary medical center!
Very professional. Our dog was treated with much respect and kindness. Prices are very fair compared to other full service veterinary services. Definitely worth the drive. Thank you to all those who care for animals and treated/will be treating Munch :)
We drove in from Iowa City to have my elderly dog's front leg checked. Our vet discovered a lypoma tucked under the shoulder and leg area and was concerned there may be nerve entanglement issues. The specialist and 4th year student, Abby (sic), were wonderful. Leah is also blind and her experience from the time we entered was less stressful than expected. She needed less reassurance, and our trip home was peaceful. Good news, she is healthy and happy; the lypoma is slow growing, and there is no entanglement.
Very caring staff, very informative and is in no hurry to rush to the next patient. Stayed with me and answered all my questions (and all subsequent questions) and helped getting my dog in and out of my car
