Liverpool Village Animal Hospital

First time going here, we had to reschedule our appt Friday to yesterday. They were understanding about our reasoning and were able to get us in quickly. They were fantastic with our green tree python and they were knowledgeable about her. Refreshing to have a vet care so much about the animal and not the pay check. They are very reasonably priced for a full service vet. We will definitely be switching fully over to them for our animals. They do in room cash out, which was new to me and fairly nice. Gives you privacy for you and your pet while you go through the processing of paying for your services. Highly recommend!

We have gone to Liverpool Animal Hospital for 5 years. The fact that “Hospital” is in the name doesn’t mean only for emergencies. Our dogs get regular check ups, med refills, X-rays on site, get meds auto shipped to our home, one dog gets her nails done there, and more than once I’ve scheduled an appointment because I had a concern like, one of our pups was coughing a lot. Super knowledgeable and caring people is evident right away, even on the phone! My service dog sees the same veterinarian every time. This has eased her nervousness about being at the Vet. I’ve had simple questions about meds and other things that were answered in one call. You know how dog moms can get lol. We love them at Liverpool! Honestly, these people are all nicer than the people that work at my doctor's office. I wish I was treated like the king they made my dog into. I wish my doctor told me what a cute and handsome boy I was, and how precious I was, even if I did fart in her face and it stunk. Pupp-a-roni in every corner, even next to the scale where these dogs weigh themselves in front of everyone!! So many smiles and cuddles and pets. No snacks at the doctor's office. No pats on the head for coming in to get my hormones checked. I need a snack for stepping on the scale. Maybe I wouldn't feel so bad then. Doctor's offices take notes. Max had a great time.

After calling around to over a dozen, and I'm not exaggerating, other vets offices, each time I was met with the same response. "Not accepting new patients," "not accepting dogs currently," "try the free vet clinics." Liverpool was willing to take in our pup and provide us with everything we needed (knowledge, shots, and meds). The staff are wonderful and friendly.

After calling around to several different veterinary clinics and hospitals and being turned away for an emergency visit, LVAH had zero issue getting my sweet little hamster in to be seen. Unfortunately, despite the excellent care Dr. McCoy and staff provided, my hamster decided it was her time to go. This hospital was not only caring but super personable, as I received an extremely kind sympathy card in the mail with a personalized message. Would 100% bring any future pets there, and will recommend to anyone looking!
