This practice had been our vet for many years. My wife and I had taken our two labs there. After they both passed, we decided on a new vet for our new dog just based on cost savings alone. When my son got a bearded dragon, we decided to take him to LAHC because they took exotic pets. This past Monday, 3/2, my wife called them to see if we could get our bearded dragon in for an appointment. He was not doing well and we knew he needed care quickly. The soonest they could see him was Wednesday, 3/4. Even after telling them it was urgent, still nothing. No fitting us in at all. He continued to get worse. I’ve been extremely happy with this practice. The vets spend ample time with you and are very well experienced. The follow up from the front desk is incredible and makes me feel like they legitimately care about me and my pet.

They were able to get my sick gecko in for a same day sick appointment. We saw Dr. Wolfer and he was incredibly nice and explained everything to me well. I ultimately made the difficult decision to have her put to sleep and Dr. Wolfer and the staff were very patient and kind throughout the whole process and I’m very thankful they were able to see her.

We’ve been bringing our ferrets here for 3 years and our cat for 2 years! Dr. Hoerner is extremely knowledgeable and caring with our ferrets! We love bringing our pets here

I am appalled at the way I was treated at LAHC yesterday. LAHC was my vet for 25 years seeing my bird, dogs and rabbits over time. I have not been since my dog passed several years ago. On Jan 2, I was given a 930 appointment (which I truly appreciated) for a very sick rabbit who had an eye infection with a pus filled cyst underneath. I felt it was an urgent and life threatening condition. I left my house at 9:00 cuz it takes 25 min for me to drive to LAHC. It started to snow enroute as I reached the thruway and within 5 minutes I was in the middle of a whiteout. I called and left the message (cuz no one answered) that I would be late due to weather and how sorry I was. I arrived 20 minutes late. There were 2 receptionists - one was on the phone w a client the other was typing at her comp
