Lacroix Pet Hospital

If this means anything in terms of a positive review, I travel several hours to use this vet office. I appreciate their service, their respect for my desires, and care for my pets.

We just switched to La Croix and could not be happier! Dr. Amber Swain always provides the best care. Our pup has complicated medical needs, and she always takes the time needed to provided thorough treatment. Appointments are easy to make and they are always running on schedule. The waiting room is calm and free of chaos. The pricing is reasonable.

Lacroix has been my vet for 7 years...that being said, they know my pet can be aggressive when it comes to her nails. They've almost always had to muzzle her from day 1. Today I took her in for nails and anal glands...$73 bucks! I was flabbergasted. They have never charged extra for a muzzle or extra assistants. And never told me they had started charging extra for this. She's a 15 year old, 14 lb. Pom/Shitzu mix, she's not a Great Dane! If they had come to me in the waiting room and expressed that she was being extra, I could have held her for them, no big deal. Did they do this...NO! They just charged me an extra $40 bucks. This is highway robbery, especially for those on a limited income!

No competition, this is the best TEAM of vets in the area. While I’m partial to Dr. Seabaugh, I would happily let any of the veterinarians here work with my animals. Not only do they treat each and every animal with the utmost respect, but they are also very graceful with their customers. Whether it was a check up, surgery, vaccine, or even end of life care, I wouldn’t take my animals anywhere else.

We have been using Lacroix Pet Hospital for over 18 years. The Doctors and staff there are top notch. From the care our pet receive to the sympathy and compassion when there's a loss, I don't believe there's any better. Highly recommend.
