Happy Tails Boarding, Daycare & Grooming

I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Cape Girardeau Happy Tails Dog Boarding. My dog was injured while I was away, and the staff handled the situation poorly from start to finish. They were unresponsive, and every person I spoke with gave me a different explanation of what happened. I requested camera footage of the incident several times and never received it. The injury occurred outside of regular vet hours, and the staff had no plan in place for emergencies. No one knew which emergency vets were available, and I had to scramble to figure it out myself while worried about my dog’s condition. Amazing with my dog. They are always on point. The hours can be kind of off right now. Very friendly staff and they have also made my dog so much more comfortable and happy and get use to men to show they are not all bad. Pricing is good, (for how the economy is right now). You can board for half a day/ full day/ boarding. I have tried them all and my dog always comes home happy. They do military discounts. A few bucks off which is nice! They also provide multiple other services for example nail trimming/hair/ bath/teeth brush etc.

Staff worked hard to make my dog comfortable while being boarded. Money well spent, my dog was in good hands while we vacationed.

Dogs got sick often (once 3 with kennel cough, an extra $180 ea at the vet) and were injured almost every time after I picked them up and they also charged me for YEARS of unknown extra percentage to pay using my credit card for bills rounding about $298 ea., so you couldn’t possibly have that cash ready. I will not ever go back. BAD DEAL! BAD SERVICE. BAD FOR MY DOGS!!! AND THEY DID NOT WANT CAMERAS ON THE DIGS BECAUSE THEY DOUBLE STACK CAGES - go see the back rooms for yourselves. AWFUL.

i visited several dog day care centers, and this was the best. i started taking my dogs there several years ago and they really loved it. recently I adopted a shy troubled dog and they helped bring her out of her shell with love.
