This is the worst “pet store” I’ve ever seen, even PetCo and Petsmart don’t have conditions like this.. Birds in small horizontal enclosures, “unregistered” pure-breds, why is a PUREBRED unregistered?? Axolotls sold in beta fish cups? These people do not care about mixing breeds that aren’t very compatible they’re just trying to make a quick buck unethically. Reporting this store to the authorities.

Don't belive all the negative reviews. Koolau has been around for over 20 years specializing in PETS, there is absolutely no neglect going on of any sort. All the pets in this store are HEALTHY and HAPPY. Veterinarian proved. The individuals writing reviews are blatant lies. This business is very reputable come in and see for yourself!

I want to leave my story. My dog ​​is being euthanized. They sold me a Chihuahua mix as a French Bulldog in December 2024. They sold me a Chihuahua mix as a French Bulldog in December 2024. Their receipt and tag clearly stated that it was a purebred, unregistered French Bulldog, as new dog parents we had no idea about this. We treated Coke as a member of the family and my two girls got along well with her but sadly Coke had congenital defects such as heart, liver and kidney defects. In short, this store sold me a pet with birth defects and the product was not what it said it was. As I write this review, my pet is being euthanized because of the birth defects caused by her irregular breeding and mixed breed. Even though I have spent more than $8,000, I still cannot save her life.

Bought my lab from here early June and they were very kind and explained all the care she needed (she came with meds, she was born with a small health issue that was resolved) and explained that her first vet visit would be free. Turned out that she needed another round of medicine and that was fully paid for as well as her testing for any worms, diseases, or other health issues. However other than the initial issue she was alright! A little over a month after getting her my husband and I were curious as to what her parents looked like as we were told she was a purebred , after getting ahold of the store they took my name and contact information and within 2 days they forwarded me pictures of both of her parents! Poor care of the animals available. Isolated understimulated puppies, betas in Tupperware and turtles without sunlamps. Help the animals or get them sent to another, better store
