Pat has worked wonders with our German Shepherd. I couldn’t think of a better trainer. He was a wild, crazy dog and he has definitely turned him into gentleman.

Patrick Fitzgerald, owner of Keystone K9, took advantage of the fact that he was paid in full. He promised to be a lifelong resource for us along with months/years of reliable training for our pittie-mix, who is a very reactive dog. My husband and I would take time off of work to meet up for training sessions, to which we wouldn’t hear from Patrick until hours after our scheduled sessions, always with a new excuse. Safe to say he did not train my dog, simply put a choke-collar on him (which eventually gave my dog a Hematoma). We took Patrick to small claims court, and won. He of course appealed and when we refiled, the case had to be dismissed because my husband and I didn’t have a lawyer to guide us on how to “appeal an appeal”. I paid 2500 for patrick to do boarding training and a part of the follow training was to he in home for a few sessions. I've tried to schedule numerous times with no communication.. and when I got my dog back his neck was cut open and bleeding because the choker collar was so tight and I submitted a picture to psrrick and his response it just skin irritation. Unacceptable and disrespectful. Not recommended in my experience whatsoever.

Had my dog Fred in training with a different company to be certified for therapy, but did not understand the finals steps and there were a few areas he needed work on. Pat and team knew exactly what was needed and how to move forward. I’d recommend Keystone K-9 to anyone looking to pursue therapy certification.

Pat is an amazing trainer. I have a strong Doberman who is also a show dog, my boy can strut in an AKC ring with the best of them and get on the field and act like a working dog. Pat trains a dog based on the DOG not by some strict method, which may not work for all breeds. I was very picky on who I let train my dog, and who I took advice from. There are a lot of hacks in this business, Pat knows his stuff and truly cares about the dogs. He's also up front and honest. If you train with Pat, take his advice follow through and you will have an amazing dog! My dog is loved and constantly gets compliments on how awesome he is.
