I've never seen another shelter that takes such good care of their animals and maintains such detailed records and notes. He tested positive for FPV before I could pick him up and they started treatment immediately and gave daily updates on his health, even on Christmas. I'm beyond impressed by their dedication and care to the animals they have. Grateful to be able to pick up Allan from KCHS and I highly recommend them.

Such a fantastic facility with even better staff! These folks really love and care for not only the animals, but the families adopting them. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking for their fur-ever friend! I adopted both of my cats here. Needless to say, I received nothing but love, support, and expertise throughout the entire process.

If you’re looking for a new companion please stop by -all the doggies and kitties are so appreciative of any love. Volunteer or collect your aluminum to donate. Every dollar counts for these lil babies. They accept blankets, towels, cleaning products, food and toys! Gods Angels are here for sure!

One of the area’s best resources for animal care! Wonderful people who literally serve our community, state and country. I’ve adopted many times and have been supported through each new family member. Community outreach is beyond expectations!

I was very impressed! The facility and staff are amazing. I adopted a puppy there last year after several visits. Everything is included in the adoption fee: spay/neuter, initial vaccines, booster vaccines, microchips, first week of veterinary care, and discount coupons for supplies. The shelter was busy, but they tracked the adoptions very efficiently with a computer. They sent me text reminders for appointment dates. After a week, they texted just to offer help if I needed anything. Upon follow-up visits, they had my dog's records in their system. I haven't seen this much efficiency at any other business or agency. The staff really care about the dogs. You can just feel the love and care they give every animal. They remember all the dogs by name, even when the dogs return for follow-up
