Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital

I cannot say enough positive things about Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital. We have probably been close to 10 times in the last 6 months if not more for my senior man and have always received the absolute best care each time we go. They do their best to work us in if it’s something that’s urgent and I am so thankful for that. The lady that works the front desk is amazing and so friendly and patient and kind. The vet techs are all fantastic and are some of the best we’ve ever had. We have seen a variety of vets at this location, but mostly Dr. Thomas and Dr. Dixon who are both AMAZING! My sweet man recently had surgery to remove a mass and I knew he was in the best hands here and I wouldn’t have wanted him to go anywhere else. The prices are very reasonable and affordable here too! The vet i loved left. Went yesterday for medication related blood test and waited over a hour and never saw the vet. Paid 2.56 per pill for 45 carprofen. Prices are way to high making the clinic unaffordable. The price to remove a mole was over a thousand dollars. Not sure what their business model is, but they are out of reach for me.

Dr. Martin is wonderful as the the staff. A little pricey but they care about your pet and your pet's need. Very knowledgeable.

I’ve been bringing my pets to Dr. Thomas’ office for years. I have tried other vet offices in the area and nobody compares. I always leave my visits feeling heard and know that my pets are receiving the absolute best care possible. If I ever have an emergency, the staff does a great job of trying to accommodate me same day. I will never go anywhere else for vet care for my pets. Thank you Jacksonville Vet Hospital. We received the best care for 15 years for our baby, Chewy. The doctors and staff here all knew us and were always happy to see us. Of course, I always thought Chewy was the bestest boy, but they also acted and treated him like he was too. I"m sure most people who bring their babies here get treated that way as well. On the hardest day, when we had to say goodbye to our sweetest boy, they were all so compassionate and kind and we will never forget that. We miss our boy so much and don't know if or when we'll get another, but if we do, we'll come here again.
