I adopted Smokey the cat in November 2025. She was very skidish and fearful. It took her about a werks to come out from hiding. She has adjusted to me quite well but is still afrsud if other people or loud noises. She is my new roommate andI love her so m6ch. She really enjoys me petting her and loves her new food. I do not know how to put a photo of her in this site but I think you will remember het. She is lucky 13. I had 12 other cats before her.

The people who work here are fantastic!! The place is attractive and clean, and the animals are so well cared for. The adoption process is straightforward. It does require that you submit an online request, but they actually call you back promptly after you submit your request. They keep detailed notes on each animal, making it easy to select a pet that will be the best fit for you. They charge a reasonable price to cover vaccinations, much less than what you'd pay at a vet or some other pet adoption locations. Plus, they send you out the door with treats and toys for your new family member. I donate each year but have never had the opportunity to visit. Everyone's so great at this location.Such an amazing organization! Theyve helped out with my pupper doggers countless timed through their emergency food pantry while going through hard times in the past!
