Howling Hill Kennel

We have taken our dogs here every time we go out of town. Mary is excellent with dogs, and runs a VERY clean and well organized kennel. In fact all of her staff has been friendly and professional. The dogs that stay there are required to be up on ALL vaccinations including the one for kennel cough, so I've felt perfectly safe leaving our dogs with her. The dogs are not confined to kennels all day, unlike most other places that board dogs. Dogs are very social animals and I would hate to have my dog in a crate for a week! Mary does not do that. Since she trains dogs, and knows canine behavior very well, she knows which dogs can play together and which ones would be aggressive or nervous, and might need to be safely away from the others. Mary Webster has been amazing for our family and our dog, Charlie. She has always been super nice, and Charlie loves going to see her. She had him as a pup for training, and we have been boarding him there for the past 5 years. The people writing these terrible reviews need to make sure they are writing them about the correct place. There are multiple kennels on this road, and the one right next door is more than likely causing this problem. In the past 5 years, we have never had any problems, and we have continuously recommended Mary to friends for dog training and boarding. We treat our dogs as family, and I wouldn't trust anyone else but Mary to take care of him when we are gone.

I have been taking my old english sheepdog to howling hill kennel since she was a puppy! Mary trained her, I would recommend her for all services that are available! My pet loves it out there! She gets wonderful professional care, I never worry about her while I’m out of town. Her rates are affordable, and Mary even had a transportation service for pick-up, grooming services, and training needs. Two thumbs up! I have never had any issues with fleas, neglect, odor or lack of play time. My pet comes home happy, secure and relaxed. Please note, Mary has had her business for 30 plus years, no problems with her kennel. It doesn’t smell, and it’s clean with very good professional workers. I've had 2 dogs trained here with Mary and always choose her for boarding as well! She and her staff have always treated my dogs wonderfully, they are always so happy to go. She is great with communication and making sure I know what is always happening with my babies. Great place for your pups to be taken care of!
