I have a new rescue pup and wanted him to be happy and socialized. I choose Home and Away Pet Care and he absolutely loves it. He is so happy to go and I know he is safe. So lucky to have this local business.

I rarely leave reviews, but credit where credit is due!! I was so fortunate to have Home & Away Pet Care recommended by a trusted friend who had used Kirsten’s services multiple times in the past. I always worry about boarding Rowan, as she’s a very high energy dog that requires lots of play and stimulation! After meeting Kirsten and seeing how knowledgeable and professional she was when dealing with Rowan, and the other dogs in her care I instantly felt safe and at ease leaving my “fur child” in her care. She loves Rowan as much as I do. I feel so comfortable being able to leave my girl in her care for weekend vacations or if I have to drop her off for a few hours during the day! So thankful I found such an amazing place. Rowan loves it here and is so excited for the new friends she meet

Kirsten was recommended by my other dog sitter who uses her services whenever she goes on vacation. What a perfect match for our dogs. Lily and Benny felt right at home. They got to enjoy morning and evening cuddles, plenty of play time with other dogs, and I could tell from the photos she sent us that they felt safe and comfortable with her. She was also very understanding of our situation with our flight getting canceled and we had to delay our pick up time by 12 hours. Fortunately, I do what I always do and had packed extra food but she assured me the dogs would have been fed regardless of my planning. Kirsten was an amazing care taker for our Ember girl. It was our first time leaving her for a vacation, we were so lucky to have Kirsten. We were provided daily photo and text updates which put us at ease during our trip. Ember adjusted quickly and loved her time. Will continue to use Kirsten for future needs!

Kirsten and Stephen are the absolute best! I feel so blessed that my beloved Ralphie has the privilege of hanging out with their family while I’m away at work or an occasional long weekend. There have also been some emergent situations and Kirsten is always ready and willing to extend after hours care. Ralphie starts wagging his tail and will even announce his presence by barking as soon as we turn the corner on their street! I never have to worry about him while I’m working which is priceless! I lovingly refer to Kirsten as Ralphie’s “other mother”. I’ve been using Kirsten’s services for over 3 years now. They are like a second family to me. I highly recommend Kirsten for your pet care needs!
