Hayward Animal Clinic

It's been a minute since I've visited this vet so I can't speak to recent experience. The last time I was here my dog had TPLO surgery in 2023. Everyone was nice, office is clean and easily accessible. Only issue I had was 2 days post surgery, I noticed my dogs paw was huge in comparison to other paws. They had a fentanyl patch bandage wrapped around it. Surgery was Friday, discovered Sunday evening. Didn't notice anything because she spent most of those days sleeping due to medications. I contacted our 24hr vet line with our pet insurance to ask if I could remove it if it wasn't normal and also emailed this office pictures and concerns about her paw. Luckily talked to a vet through insurance who said to carefully remove it because the bandage was on so tight it was cutting off circulati

These guys a Pros!!! Seriously. Not once did anyone ever raise an eyebrow about my very poorly behaved cats. Getting appts has been so easy. Each of my cats has been some sort of special case that they handle with expertise. I feel so safe taking my furry babies to this vet clinic. They have been wonderful to my cats and to me. And especially compassionate when Cocoa had a front leg amputated. He has recovered beautifully.

My dog Dude, was scratching his skin off and I was unable to get him in with his usual Vet. They were not able to see him for 4 days. Hayward Animal Clinic was able to see him the next day. They treated him and sent us home with pills to take twice a day. His scratching started to subside within hours and the next day he was so much better. I am thankful that Hayward Animal Clinic could see him so quickly and so professionally. They were very nice and handled Dude very well and gently.

Great place, I give them 5 starts for costumer service. I needed to cancel my dog’s appt a couple times, they were very kind and patient with me . Prices are not bad at all as well.

No transparency with pricing. I contacted them to schedule a neutering appointment for my cat and basically it’s against their policy to provide pricing over the phone. They need you to pay $88 for a vet visit in order to tell you neutering prices. Most places have them visible on their website but this place won’t disclose them.
