Havelock Animal Shelter

Staff is either very disorganized or overwhelmed. They didn’t answer the phone on multiple calls, but finally called back to make an appointment. They then adopted the dog out that we were scheduled to meet, without even bothering to tell us or cancel. I had to find out on Facebook because they had zero communication with us. It’s difficult to pivot like that with kids, to show up and the dog is not even there. The staff gave no acknowledgement that the lack of communication was even a problem, just said they had other dogs.

I stop here often and love on the pretty souls that unfortunately occupy the cold galvanized steel of the shelter walls. Please do this little shelter a favor and stop by. Cheyenne is a sweetheart and will gladly show you around❤️

I adopted CT a pit mix breed early Saturday morning he is a very special dog and seems protective. He is well behaved and most time comes when called 😆. He stays inside when I leave and I have come home to no mess within 2 days which in my experience of shelter animals or any new animals. There's always a mess. I want to thank havelock animal shelter for their dedication to the animals.

Thank u so much for the lady she worked there she’s very nice and very helpful the process was very quick and easy. I am so glad that I get a chance to get warm home for Harry and I am so happy that my cat he’s doing good with him. Thank you for hard work for the teamwork there you are the best God bless you all.

The people are helpful and friendly. They are good to the animals. Thankful for their service.
